Configuring Discovery Chips
Discovery chips are the heart of Lumero's product discovery experience. They provide AI-powered search shortcuts that help customers find products faster through intuitive, clickable suggestions.
What are Discovery Chips?
Discovery chips appear as clickable buttons in your search widget, suggesting popular categories and filters. They work in two levels:
Primary Chips
Main product categories that represent broad areas of your catalog:
Electronics, Clothing, Home & Garden
By Price Range, By Style, By Color
Category-specific terms that match your products
Secondary Chips
Specific filters that appear under primary chips when selected:
Under $25, $25-$50, Over $100 (under price categories)
Mens, Womens, Kids (under clothing)
Living Room, Bedroom, Kitchen (under home categories)
